Seminole Hospitality is looking to hire a part-time intern for the fall. This is a 6-month internship and will start in July of 2023. The internship is designed for individuals to gain hands-on experience in the event management and athletic hospitality industries. Interpersonal, multitasking, and communication skills are necessary and should be developed throughout this internship. The experience acquired will offer the intern the opportunity to work in related fields in his/her future career.

The Seminole Hospitality intern plays a vital role in the success of football premium seating operations at Florida State University athletic events and facilities. Responsibilities include preparation, organization, and management of the suites and clubs. Interns will work closely with Seminole Boosters, FSU Athletic Department, and donors. Interns also help manage game day workers.

Seminole Hospitality hires two part-time interns for the Fall semester, with the potential opportunity of continued work for the Spring semester. Interns must be flexible with scheduling and willing to work long hours on weekdays and weekends. Interns will assist with administrative tasks and are required to work all home football games.

Objectives:

1. Learn and administer policies and procedures regarding admission, food and beverage, maintenance, and other suites & club operations.
2. Serve as a liaison between suite holders/club members and the catering staff and the FSU Athletic Department.
3. Contribute to the production of premium seating publications (services guide, menu portfolios, and newsletters).
4. Assist in executing University and external events when necessary.
5. Lead the FANgineer™ (game day staff) program by bolstering recruitment efforts, handling communication, and coordinating schedules.  
6. Deliver the
finest hospitality and service by going above & beyond every day.

This position will require a commitment to all six home football game weekends. Office hours range from 10-30 hours/per week, depending on workload. This is a paid position.

Experience in event management, sports management, hospitality, and/or customer service is preferred but not required.
